I really wanted to overnight on Antelope Island but fear of those bugs kept us away. One week down of our workamp gig and so far, so good. Craters of the Moon looks very interesting. We've only had a chance to do a quick drive thru, but I'm looking forward to going on a couple of ranger lead hikes. I'll keep you posted. Enjoy your time with friends and hopefully the new purchase will all work out ok. Can't wait to hear about it.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-338475515597614288.post-90746413212593507512016-05-12T06:36:19.095-07:002016-05-12T06:36:19.095-07:00We have only been to Park City once....your pictur...We have only been to Park City once....your pictures remind me of a wonderful afternoon we spent strolling Main St. there. Your photo after the bear on the bench is the bar where they filmed all the bar scenes for the TV show Blood and Oil when we were in Park City. It only last one season this past year. The rest of the show was filmed in the huge studio on your way into town. We ate in the bar so we could see what it looked like. It was neat to see it on TV. The filming was done in the middle of the night and the sign out front was changed.

Where are you staying? Your perspective shot of the old and new houses is perfect! The counte's story is one of my favorite, although I'm having a hard time picturing it in song. Don't know if you have plans to return to Park City -- if so, the High West Distillery makes a fabulous lunch -- and even though we're not ordinarily whiskey drinkers, their Campfire Whiskey is out-of-this-world, especially on a chilly evening.
