We find Valley of the Gods to be more beautiful than Monument Valley. Perhaps because it's more intimate, as you said. Our daughter, Kelly, just cal...This is such a hoot. Our daughter, Kelly, just called us this morning and asked us to list somethings she could see on a trip with her husband to the Grand Canyon. Paul is making notes right this minute. He said that they need to go to the Valley of the Gods. That is so much better...road wise, crowd wise and beauty wise...to us than Monument Valley. He also wrote down Gooseneck SP, Mexican Hat...where we stayed for three days one year...and even the Moki Dugway...which I hated, but Paul loved.
