Thursday - Going to the Sun

We packed lunch and the dogs and drove over the continental divide on the Going to the Sun Road.  We're absolutely on overload, beauty overload.  I'm not going to post any more pictures tonight, I need to digest what we saw.

Before I do a post I have to dig out my Thesarus and find some synonyms for "beautiful" because the scenery we drove through today is way too big for that word to handle on its own.

  1. What was that final picture? Are those clouds? Pull out that thesaurus and treat us to the pictures!!!! Can't wait. Looks stunning.

  2. We are really enjoying your "Glacier" posts. Isn't that bakery in Polebridge -the best! I am also glad to hear that the KOA is working out for you. Indeed, sensory overload - The Going to the Sun Road is spectacular. All this to say - we can't wait. We start our journey north to Glacier on July 7. We will take our time and will be traveling through ID - we don't start our camp hosting (Apgar Campground) until July 25. (I assume the final picture is Snow along the road.)

Great pics so far - Can't wait for the rest of them.

  3. I felt that way the entire time we were in the west. Beautiful just doesn't describe the beauty of the west. Glacier is magnificent!! I see there is still quite a bit of snow. The waterfalls are beyond words.

Have a great time soaking in all that beauty! Looking forward to more pictures.
