We'll try anything.....

Our life long friend from the Buffalo area, Judi, came to stay with us for a a few days.   She came bearing gifts.    First, she brought our favorite pizza from Bocce's.   No pizza can hold a candle to Bocce's and we hungrily ate one for lunch (she brought 2!)

Second, she brought a long something to help us with the sale of the farm......Yep, we'll try anything.

Who knows!    So, the three of us did the required digging of the hole, careful placement of little St. Joe likeness,  the burying of the statue, and the reciting of the required prayer over the burial.    (Judi is Catholic, so she said the prayer to keep things proper......)

We had our first showing yesterday.....coincidence?

As I said, we'll try anything to get ourselves back on the road........stay tuned.

  1. Haha!! Too funny! We did this also but I don't remember any prayer which is probably why it didn't work. Ours wasn't in a fancy box. My mother just gave us a little statue. Must be the power of the prayer. Good to hear you had a showing. Only takes one!!!

  2. I've heard good things about such processes and prayer ....Harriett always told me to imagine my farm around a blue aura. It sold within a few months. Fingers crossed for you guys.

  7. People have been doing this for years and I love that now you can buy a "kit"! Most I know say it absolutely works so combined with all of us sending you good sale mojo, you probably better get packed up and ready to go!! We know a Joe who the family would probably pay to have us bury in our front yard......we could put him in head first too ;-))))))

  8. You might recall that this former Catholic still calls upon the saints for assistance on a regular basis. Can't say I ever saw a St. Joseph kit but I love that you are willing to give it a try. I made up a simple prayer to use for this purpose: St. Joseph, St. Joseph, full of grace. Bring us a great offer on this dwelling place.

Sending good selling vibes your way.
