Snow, snow, snow, ice, snow, icy mist, grey skies, cold, cold, ice. Its black and white and grey and sometimes beautiful, did I mention cold?
The high point of today was a yummy dinner at the Caledonia Village Inn with Wonderful Fred and Lovely Wife Jeanne. You remember Fred, of Fredericks of Geneseo Home Care Service, the man left in charge of the farm while we were off laughing and playing. He has kindly agreed to provide the same service for our little cottage in the coming months.

icicles, cottage style! |
Snow does make for beautiful photos. Everything is so quiet while and after it snows. The quiet would wake us when we lived in PA over the interstate. Snow was the only time the highway was quiet. Love the Icicles, cottage style:) But your poor outdoor furniture looks so cold sitting out there buried deep:( Poor Dave!! Cleaning off the car is no fun. Only a little time left until the warm temps are your new new best friend:)
ReplyDeleteThe cottage icicles are incredible, I've never seen anything like that. Not that I've seen a lot of icicles...... I can't imagine actually getting out on the road and driving somewhere in all that snow and ice! The pics are gorgeous and I'm sure you'll enjoy looking at them next year from a sunny spot somewhere else :-)
ReplyDeleteIt sure looks pretty...but I sure wouldn't want to be there! I bet your travel gene is itching!
ReplyDeleteOMG look at those icicles!!! Stay warm and cozy in your new space!
