On the road again

We're finally back on the road again and it feels good.    Tonight's stop is the Elks Lodge in Provo, Utah.    We're backed into one of their 5 sites and have been provided with a full, 50 amp hookup including a nice view of the mountains.

Today's drive on I-70 west to Route 6 to I-15 into Provo was an uneventful but beautiful one.

I'm starting to get a few pictures from Jesse and Erin's wedding.   Here are some that our friend, JoAnn, took.

Bob, a friend of Erin's family and her childhood cross country ski coach, officiates
while attendants look on with interest

Jesse's best "man", his dear 13 year old Ruby.
She's been with him through thick and thin

the reading of their very personal vows

the sharing of rings

The deed is done
Pure Joy.....

I have a few more from Lisa that I'll show you tomorrow.

  4. Such a beautiful and meaningful day! Your son looks just like his Dad. I love the dogs being included. Ruby reminds me of our dear Rusty. When our daughter got married 8 years ago, Ron's guide dog Rusty was still with us and was in the wedding with his collar adorned with flowers as well. He walked with us escorting our beautiful bride down the aisle. Happy travels!

  7. Pure Joy....for sure! Two wonderful people committing to share life together. Doesn't get any better than that (as their smiles attest to in the photos!)

And speaking of wonderful people, we're so glad to have you back on the road, going cross country and taking all of us!
