No pictures, nothing interesting to see today
We left our beautiful campsite at Crooked River SP around 11 a.m. and continued south, through downtown Jacksonville, to North Beach Camp Resort just north of St. Augustine. This place feels like home to us, we've been here many times and still love it. We quickly changed into shorts and t shirts as the weather was warm and humid, as Florida should be. Dave watched the last NASCAR race of the season, and I sat outside and enjoyed a good long phone conversation with Jesse.
That's it, all the news that is fit to print. We look forward to days on the beach, dinner at Aunt Kate's on the river, low country boil, shrimp fresh off the boats and not much else. We have to vacate our spot here on the 27th, turns out Thanksgiving is a very busy weekend at North Beach. No matter, we're looking forward to moving north (I know, north?) just a bit to Fernandina Beach for our holiday on the beach. We're thankful for all that we have, wherever we have it.
Shorts and T shirts! Yeah. Cant wait too for our weather to be better.
ReplyDeleteWe will have Tstorms today and has yet to go to Savannah.
