These pictures really don't do them justice, taken from my stupid flip phone, and they don't include all of John...
Our morning started with grey skies, rain and wind. Ugh, again? A fellow traveler and blogger, MonaLisa stopped by to introduce herself and we had a nice visit inside Beluga while her husband, Steve, tracked down needed refrigerator parts. We made plans to meet later for cocktails and dinner with Pam and John at Joe's Crab Shack.
After lunch the skies began to clear so Dave got a washing permit from the office and gave Beluga a good bath. The dogs and I had a relaxing afternoon watching Dave work.
Around 5 we met MonaLisa and Steve at Pam and John's motorhome, shared cocktails and conversation, then walked over to Barefoot Landing for dinner at Joe's Crab Shack. We all enjoyed large buckets and platters of crab, lobster and shrimp. I think we were the last customers in the joint.
You meet the nicest people on the road!
We love this lifestyle and making new friends along the way is certainly one of the best parts. Enjoy!
