I stayed back at Beluga and took care of some little jobs that have been slipping through the cracks. All in all it was a laborious labor day! Dave came back and picked me up around 6:30, then while he and Jesse finished the last few boards, I warmed up last night's dinner, added some fresh broccoli, opened a bottle of wine and we sat down to dinner about 8:30. Four of us for dinner tonight...Jonathan came just as we were pouring a glass wine so it was perfect timing to enjoy his company and share our dinner.

Wow ...a porch!!!! That is so cool. Lucky Jesse to have a Dad to help him with that project. Good way to labor through the day. Tell Dave I think it is a portend of things to come when he returns to Geneseo...but tell him that after his sore muscles have eased up a bit and he can get excited about an even bigger project at the lake!
