The weather during our last days in Borrego Springs went from pouring rain, to beautiful rainbows to clear blue skies and everything in between.
We stayed inside and baked, read and kept busy during the rainy times, but sometimes we all wished it would just stop!
I wish I could go out and play...... |
On Monday morning we got a break in the weather so Dave was able to play a wonderful round of golf, one of his best.
Yesterday we met Steve and MonaLiza for breakfast/lunch at the Red Ocotillo (a surprisingly delicious restaurant in a building that once housed a French restaurant/antique shop) before heading out for a few more adventures in the desert.
I'll tell you about that later, the internet is very very slow tonight and I'm ready for bed!
Have a wonderful time on the farm tour!! Watch for the burrowing owls as you ride out to pick produce. They are peaking out from under the edge of the road. Have your camera ready!!
ReplyDeletei loved the beautiful Lewis picture. Can't wait for the farm tour pictures!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the farm tour, it is on our list now that you have told us about it 😊
ReplyDeleteLewis's pictures is too funny.
ReplyDeleteJust finished four great days with Pam and John. I know y'all will have months with them. We have to take what we can get. Lol. Looking forward to meeting you two! I mean three.
ReplyDeleteSounds like fun! Take lots of pictures!
ReplyDeleteWe're going to do the farm tour too! In early Feb...
ReplyDeleteSo funny for us to see El Centro as a destination :-))) But the tour sounds like a lot of fun! I'm surprised Lewis is "okay" with the planes being so close. Glad you got a bit more good weather and that Dave got some more "practice" before Naco!
