Jesse's Ruby and her birthday guest, Kikan waiting patiently in the wings. HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR RUBY . |
We've moved more into the center of Tucson to a very developed RV resort with all the amenities I want right now. Not very picturesque though, so I've no pictures to show you.
We're at Lazy Days RV resort, lots of campers here, but a great restaurant on premises, huge laundry, big sites, cable TV and our site even has a view of the distant mountains. Its not a state park for sure, but its what we need right now. The last time we were at this place it was called Beaudry RV Resort and was much less settled. We were here then with our good friends Steve and Charron on our way back from Mexico. We can't keep our thoughts from turning to Charron and how much we miss her. We had some really good times with them and we're reminded, once again, how quickly time moves and how important it is to fully live each and every moment.
Dinner tonight was at the Florizona Restaurant here on premises. Dave was attracted to the Walleye dinner and it didn't disappoint. We're keeping a watchful eye on the weather as they're calling for another winter storm and it may drop more snow on the area. Not as much snow as our friend, JoAnn, will encounter on her way home from Florida I think.
We enjoyed our month at Lazy Days. The fruit trees were prime in Jan - Feb. I had to go out and buy a juicer. I made five qts. to freeze and then keep us fully stocked for our entire month. I also did lemon juice then froze it in ice cube trays for future use. Is there still fruit on the trees? Pick all you want!!
ReplyDeleteThere are free USA Today newspapers in the office by the desk. Get there early as they go fast.
They also have a good fish fry on Fridays that includes fish, potatoes, cole slaw and dessert for $9.99. Better than cooking.
Ruby is the BEST ....sweetest dog! Happy Birthday, Ruby.
