friends

Dave's back is getting better each day but we stayed around home another day just to give it a little more time.  

After lunch we saw a familiar motorhome move slowly down the campground road in front of Beluga.   The Beast!

Paul, Nina and the famous Polly have moved into a site one row away from us for the next month.    They are caravanning with Paul's delightful dad and step mom.

I was sitting outside, reading, when I heard scrambling in the stones and a woman laughing.    I turned around to see Polly dragging Nina towards me.  She was in a hurry to visit her long lost friend Lewis, but he wasn't home.    Dave had just taken him for a long walk in the desert.      Polly passed the time by checking out and thoroughly squeaking all of Lewis' toys, one of her favorite things to do at our house.

After Dave and Lewis got back, Paul joined us, then Pam and John.   We had sort of a pre-happy hour visit, watching Lew and Polly play their special games and catching up on each other's lives.     Paul's dad and step mom joined us later for an official happy hour and we laughed and talked until it was too dark to see each other.    Lewis is beside himself with all these friends in one place.   He didn't know who to spend time with first!

Its so great to see them all again and we look forward to spending more time with such special friends.
