It was a bit windy but otherwise we enjoyed the ride.
the clouds almost looked alive, crawling slowly down from the mountain tops |
We'll miss our wonderful time in the Owen's valley, but its exciting to be on the road again.
We'll enjoy some old favorite spots and find some new ones to explore.
After a bit of spot jockeying and leveling challenges, we're settled in at Sam's Family Spa and Hot Springs for at least a couple weeks. To Lewis' extreme delight, Pam and John are once again parked next to us.
When we leave Desert Hot Springs we'll travel to familiar Borrego Springs, but at a new place this time.
I'm fascinated by the acres and acres of moving windmills |
That was the coolest cloud. I've never seen anything like it. I was disappointed that the clouds hadn't lifted off the mountains so we could see how much snow there was before we left...darn! Oh, well, new adventure are calling us:)
ReplyDeleteGlad you've all landed safely once again and really glad the wind wasn't an issue! Can't wait to see what you get up to around DHS. Having lived in Joshua Tree for a short time I know this is a great time of year for playing in the area.
