Dave's surgery went well and he was home late the same day. He's feeling good with the aid of some lovely sunshine, a little medication and some absolutely wonderful white bean soup from MonaLiza.

While sweet Lewis is glad to have Dave back home where he can keep an eye on him, he does find it difficult to get comfortable on the couch now. Ah well.....where there's a will there's a way.
My hardest job will be to keep Dave from driving to the Wickenburg Airport tomorrow to attend the annual Fly in/Classic Car Show.....sigh.

DeleteGood luck keeping Dave home tomorrow especially if he continues to feel better!! Hopefully, Lew will have his whole sofa back soon. It's nice that he shares so well.
ReplyDeleteLewis doesn't mind sharing, and he really enjoys the cuddling aspect of sharing, but he'll be happy to have it back in it's entirety!

ReplyDeleteIt’s Gay…great news Sue! Thank you for letting us know. Hoping for Dave to have a full and quick recovery. Pups are so funny…and always (well almost always) get their way with only a few stretches, roll overs and nose snuggles on the sofa. At least that’s the way it goes at our house! 😉

ReplyDeleteThe good nurse has to be very close to the patient to feel his warmth. We did not stay long at the show it was very cold! Steve saw many nice cars :)

DeleteWith his bestest caretakers and yummy soup I'm sure Dave will be up and about very soon. That sunset is incredible - so wonderful when the show comes right to the house!
