We're here at the lake, enjoying more Food, Family, Friends, Familiar places and Fun. I have a new laptop and I'm still figuring things out so stay tuned......
We're taking our a familiar route across to Spokane, via Denver and SLC then north. We'll be in Spokane in time (fingers crossed) for the birth of our first granddaughter mid July.
Love your toes photo--both of you are so tanned! Remember you are always welcome in Montana as you travel to Spokane--we've had many a motorhome drive up our driveway--even if it does frost on the first days of summer!
Thanks Janna....we had discussed taking a route that would bring us close to your beautiful area but ultimately chose a familiar route instead. Perhaps next time though, we'd love to see your piece of paradise - frost or no frost!
You do look very relaxed in those photos. :-) I know you've been busy, hope you've had time for the ritual of second cup! Enjoy your last few days at the beautiful lake. And good luck with the new laptop! OX
Always second cup, wherever we are. We've managed a couple on the deck/dock but we have some pretty nice views right from Beluga so we're happy. I think I have my arms around the new information machine, but I hope the wheels don't come off once we're away from our tech help! Fingers crossed!
That's some BIG travel, crossing the country TWICE and not a lot of time doing it. I can see why you're tuckered out. Your cups are getting filled by the family, friends, and food, though, and what a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow you're heading for in Spokane <3
Yes, it is, has been, a big trip but we're loving the places we're stopping, the people and places we're seeing, the food we're eating (and squirreling away in the freezer) and the prospects at the end of the next leg!
We'll leave our pretty spot at the lake in the morning. It's been great but time to get back on the road! I'm getting my arms around the new laptop with just one little hill to climb! I'll get to a blog in a day or two
Welcome 'home'. Good Luck with that laptop! Hope your learning curve is short.
ReplyDeleteWill you be staying for the July 4th festivities?
Thanks Jeff.....No, we're leaving on Monday. Big Beluga has filled this driveway long enough.
DeleteGlad all is good and you are having fun!
ReplyDeleteThanks Gay, we're fine and happy and full (and exhausted!)
DeleteThis has been quite a drive you two have made. Are you coming back via the northern route, or on the diagonal?
