Last day in Prescott

We leave in the morning.   Our next stop is near Page, Arizona, Wahweap Marina and Campground overlooking Lake Powell.

We have really enjoyed our time here and have grown to love this campground.  At first it seemed small and crowded, and it is.    But our site is wonderful and being able to access trails into the rock formations of the Dells without driving anywhere puts it right over the top.

I have way to many pictures of this beautiful and fun area so I'll just start showing them to you and if you get tired of looking at pictures of rocks and water I'll understand.

We had lots of fun following the white dots.....

follow the dots up....

follow the dots under.....

and through the grotto

Even Lewis follows the dots....

Today Lewis joined us and we took the trail over the rocks to Watson Lake.   It was sunny and warm and Lew loves to potch about in the water.

  3. Such a lovely spot…definitely high on our list of places to stay as we criss-cross the country. Perhaps in the spring. Does Lewis not appreciate art? I'm surprised. :-)

We have never spent any time in Page. Looking forward to seeing you adventures.

  6. f not for the snow while we were there, we would have made it a month. I think that this is Lewis favorite campground he can hike, swing and frolic on those granite rocks.
