We didn't plan any sightseeing or business trips for today - just a "down" day for us. Well, it didn't exactly work out that way, at least for Dave. He found a few projects to do and didn't stop working until cocktail time. He enjoyed every minute of it, the luxury of having the time to do those little things. The new TV cabinet needed a bit of adjustment so the remote would work from multiple spots and the diesel engine thermostat housing needed a new gasket. The logistics for accomplishing the latter job required the emptying of the entire closet so he could remove its floor....I just closed the bedroom door and didn't look. Didn't dare take any pictures, though they would have been very interesting! He seemed in control and the job got done, so I'm a happy camper.
We're on the road tomorrow, heading towards Harper's Ferry, West Virginia and dinner with a dear old friend, Mary. To be clear, she's not old, the friendship is!!!
Gee, I hope that Dave has a nice string of household projects to keep doing in Beluga ...sounds like that is what's needed to keep him out of trouble. Nice job "closing the door" ....my thoughts exactly after all that packing that just got done! Love to Lewis and Sasha.
