Sunday

The snow is coming.....12 inches predicted through tomorrow.....we are watching it on radar, approaching slowly but relentlessly (is that a word?).

Tonight's question is - Superbowl or Downton Abbey?   Lucky we have two TV's.....

  1. We are hunkered down in a hotel in Elkhart, Indiana waiting to transport our Renegade to the next step of our remodeling project (cabinets at the Amish cabinet maker's workshop and solar!). We got the big snow starting Saturday night and all the way relentlessly (yes it IS a word) until the wee hours of the morning today.

So here we sit with our Jeep and U-Haul trailer covered in deep snow, snow up to the windowsills of our room, and three dogs with varying reactions to forging through the drifts to do their business. At least we have a kitchen in our suite, and a hot breakfast every day...but it's been pretty incredible and apparently record breaking for Indiana.

With all that, we don't get PBS on cable here. What's up with that Elkhart? But I discovered you can watch full episodes online, so I will get caught up.

So have fun! Nothing like trying to do major RV/building/moving adventures in the midst of a record breaking winter. Oh yeah, now I remember why we love Arizona so much! And just heard "Phil" predicted six more weeks of winter from his digs in PA. Time to move on!

  2. Oh dang, another foot of snow!?? Knowing it's your last should really help more than it does. Telling Bill he only has six more Mondays of going to work doesn't help so much when he is heading out at 5:30 AM :-( Hope you watched at least part of that crazy game - it was a nail biter for sure!!
