Lazy Father's Day, hmmm, a pattern?

Father's Day dawned clear and cool with beautiful sunny skies.  Our close next door neighbors left while we were sleeping (we never heard a sound) and now we have the whole end of the camp loop to ourselves, Oh Happy Day!  We had our usual non-driving morning and Dave watched the NASCAR race while I caught up on things, think laundry, mail, etc.  We drove away after lunch looking for the Whole Foods store and returned with much lighter wallets.  What beautiful produce, meats and seafood!  We were exhausted again and just managed to have our G & T outside before Dave cooked dinner on the grill.  It has to be the altitude we're adjusting to, because we are really dragging.  So much to see and do and all we want to do is sit.  I'm hoping our bodies will work this out, because we're sightseeing tomorrow, no matter what!

Dave got a nice call from Jesse today.  We're a moving target as far as mail and holiday greetings go, so phone calls are much appreciated.  Jesse was on his way to Seattle to start his summer job tomorrow.  It was good to hear his voice.   Dave was feeling sentimental today and Lewis seemed to sense that.

Happy Father's Day to all you dads, especially those whose kids are far away.

Dave/ I hope you had an enjoyable Father's Day doing nothing! I must apologize to you and Sue for the delay in responding to your latest posts. After dropping Miss Hannah off in Los Angeles, I was busy preparing for a Boundless Youth Foundation board meeting.

I LOVE Santa Fe and Albuquerque. I hope you get to visit the Georgia O'Keefe Museum while you are there. Another fun place to visit is the Museum of Indian Arts & Culture. Enjoy! Sandra
