Another quiet and pleasant day in the desert. Nina and Polly stopped by and the dogs had a good romp session while we talked. After lunch, I made reservations for our next stop. We'll set up camp at Anza Borrego State Park (in Borrego Springs) on December 5 and we'll stay there until our Santee Lakes (San Diego) reservations toward the middle of the month. Jesse and Erin will join us there for Christmas.
That guy with the big fro showed up at Dave's Barber Shop again today and found it closed. He hung around and pressed his nose to the window, making a real mess. We suggested he go next door to David's Grooming Salon and he trotted off in search of a good haircut. A few hours later and he was seen leaving the shop, perfectly groomed and happy. Mr. David told me that grooming dogs in this low humidity is a real challenge. The cut hair sticks to everything, clippers, table, scissors, clothing, faces, arms, legs, eyeballs, lips, etc. and the job doesn't really turn out as good as it should.
No sunset pictures again tonight. One reason is that there are absolutely no clouds to bounce the beautiful colors off, and the other is that another fellow RV'r stopped by with his glass of wine and we sat outside and chatted about his new house purchase until well after dark.
Sorry, maybe tomorrow will be more interesting for you....
Wait...I'm confused! Did Lewis get his haircut afterall? By Dave Bank or did somebody else get their hands on him? Sounds like a real production with that boy ...all that hair and all. Good things he's so well-behaved!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful day ...I'm seeing little, itty-bitty snowflakes this morning. But, nothing to shovel yet!
