blue and green |
SUNday. We started the day off under a brilliant blue sky. We all enjoyed second cup outside, it was glorious.
Later in the day, things began to change....as we've come to expect here. Clouds rolled in and the sky became angry.
By dinner time it was raining heavily. Just in time for Dave to set up the grill and cook our Firecracker Salmon. Poor Dave. Did I mention it was raining and cold?
What a trooper...so dedicated to that dinner!
ReplyDeleteLove the storm clouds. Dramatic.
Yup! This is the way things have been. I've done more changing of cooking dinner than ever over the last few weeks. I never know if the rain/wind will end my dinner plans for cooking on the grill. Way to go, Dave!! I've been there but usually have an umbrella:)
ReplyDeleteThe doggies look so cute. Can't wait to see them:)
Well at least all this wet is making things GREEN! Looks like a nice park. Here at Cherry Creek my view is GREEN and often includes deer! (Counting my blessings since the rain won't go away.)
ReplyDeleteAwww such a brave chef! :) Welcome to the mountains - where the weather can change every 5 minutes. We were thrilled to see our rain this weekend and even the Komen race runners didn't complain!
ReplyDeleteLooks like the kids are loving all the green grass :-) Cindy said my exact thought - Dave is such a trooper! I bet he really enjoyed that salmon :-))))) We're still cloudy and cool in SoCal but next week looks to be getting back to normal for this time of year. Will send it along your way!
