We were on the road again today, from Astoria to our next stop in McMinnville.
We only drove about 125 miles but they weren't easy miles for Dave. We took rt. 26 from near Seaside to just outside Portland, then south on 99W. Rt. 26 is listed as a truck route so we knew there wouldn't be any low bridges but the road was quite narrow with sharp drops for the shoulder and Dave had to be extra vigilant to keep Beluga between the lines. That translates into a tired man at the end of our day.
I took no pictures of the drive, most of it was either deeply forested or in the process of being logged. We'll be staying at Old Stone Farm RV Resort for the next 9 or 10 days. It was nice and sunny, temps. in the low 80's when we arrived....Dave is very happy.
I'm having trouble loading any pictures tonight, so I'll close for now.
Good to know you made it safely to your next stop. Looking forward to following you around:)
ReplyDeleteI almost missed your move. Those narrow roads are exhausting for sure. Glad you're continuing in temps under 90!
