pictures

I checked my camera, I couldn't believe my eyes.   No pictures, I took no pictures today.

Not even one of our site here at Armitage County Park.

No pictures of our pleasant happy hour meet up with fellow bloggers Allison and Jim of retiredbicycle.blogspot.com   If I had taken pictures I would have shown the four of us sitting outside Beluga yaking up a storm, learning things about each other and sharing our rv repair stories.    I would have shown you sweet Lewis being an absolute angel, lying quietly at our feet and watching children (with bicycles) playing a few sites down.   Pretty sure you would have seen another picture of Dave with big, fuzzy Lewis on his lap toward the end of our visit.

I didn't take any pictures of the McKenzie Animal Clinic where I took Lewis this morning for a tooth evaluation.   You would have loved seeing him sitting up so straight and brave on the exam table.    I would have showed you how big his eyes grew as a tech. drew blood from his neck and how gently he accepted a small cookie as a reward.     I probably wouldn't have shown you a picture of the cost estimate for the "procedure" he'll have Friday morning.     Xrays, anesthetic, teeth cleaning, blood work, etc. are not inexpensive.

I'll try to do better tomorrow.    Beluga will go to her friends at Elite for a small check up.

  2. I have no pictures of the dog with such presence - Lewis. It was just lovely talking to the three of you.

  3. You did a good job of describing everything. Sometimes words are even better than photos.

  7. What a fun time with new friends, looks like everyone is having a good time. Am so impressed that Lewis tolerated the dreaded bicycles - with children!! Hope his "procedure" goes as smoothly as his office appointment.

  8. Poor Lewis. And poor you for having to pay for his dental. We just went through that with one of our cats, and it's not cheap!
Glad you got to meet Jim and Allison, nice people. Maybe we will meet you guys one of these days.
